# SharePoint

> Connect SharePoint to LightHouse: the ways to connect, the read-only scopes, where the credential is held, and what is indexed.

> The engine does not read SharePoint and OneDrive yet. LightHouse lists it in the connector catalogue as coming, and refuses a request to connect it with `409 connector_coming`.

When it is built, this page will give the three ways to connect it, the exact read-only permissions it asks for, where its credential is held, what it indexes and how to check it worked, as the built connectors’ pages do.

## Until then

- **A SharePoint or OneDrive library synced to a folder**, of text, Markdown or PDF files, can reach a knowledge base through the [folder connector](/connect/upload/).
- **Your own connector** can register under the engine’s `aal_engine.connectors` entry point, in your own repository. See [In code](/build/code/).
